State of the Presale
All,
We are only days into the presale, and already we are overwhelmed with the level of applications, interest, and enthusiasm from our supporters. We cannot express how flattered and excited we are, especially in these early days of the project.
We wanted to take a minute and give an update on the project and where it’s going in the coming days, weeks, and months.
Community Building
First, we want to address some of the feedback from our earliest supporters and purchasers regarding community building. We have presences on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, as well as Reddit. Some purchasers have requested more interaction within the community and the project founders on our own dedicated subreddit and on a telegram channel. We’ve heard you.
Starting this week, we will launch, manage, and moderate an official subreddit and telegram channel. Addresses below:
In an effort to better communicate the day-to-day news and developments at Stockchain, we are also looking to hire a formal communications and community director to help take the load off our founding team as they busily manage the presale as well as platform & token development.
Presale Funds
Again, we are thrilled with the support shown by our community already. Funds received in connection with our presale have been held and will be held in a highly secured, publicly disclosed wallet. You can see the goings on at our presale wallet with our ENS domain (stockchainglobal.eth) hereor through the routine wallet address here.
Beginning next week, presale ETH received by our team will be occasionally swept to our corporate account in order to continue to finance the project. Funds from the presale will be deployed conservatively and solely to assist in the successful development and deployment of the platform and STC tokens.
Final Notes: Goals, Timing, and Bonuses
Our stated goal in the presale is to raise 5000 ETH. We have already received commitments exceeding 2000 ETH and are processing more than 30 whitelist applications a day. Again, we are thrilled with the level of interest and education that purchasers have already brought to the table.
With the inquiries, applications, and commitments we continue to receive, we expect to hit our subscription swiftly.
Accordingly, a brief reminder on timing and early-bird bonuses:
Week 1 of the Presale will end at Midnight, GMT, Friday January 26, 2018.
At the close of Week 1, the 5% early-bird bonus will expire.
Purchasers in Week 2 of the presale will still be entitled to a 2.5% bonus.
The Presale will end when we have hit our stated goal of receiving 5000 ETH or on March 3, 2018, whichever occurs first.
